Suitable for children aged 5 to 15, Life on the farm is a day of learning about what goes on behind the scenes in the world of keeping horses. Children will spend the day helping us to do the jobs we do everyday including feeding, grooming, turning the horses out into their fields then filling their haynets, changing waters mucking out and preparing the stables ready for the horses to come back in. On very nice days we may even give some of the ponies a good wash with lots of soap and bubbles or maybe prepare the ponies and show them in a simulated show ring. A very informative day. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY so why not bring a friend or two. Bring a packed lunch. Drop the children off between 9.30am and 10am. Pick them up between 2.30pm and 3pm.
