Foxhills Riding Centre (a riding school and livery yard) is set in 75 acres of beautiful country side, situated on the top of Barr Beacon, one of the highest points in the midlands with stunning panoramic views. Just inside Walsall and close to the borders of Streetly, Aldridge and Great Barr, Birmingham.
Foxhills Riding Centre is very proud to be approved by the British Horse Society (BHS) The Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS) The Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) and The Pony Club (PC) And granted a 5 star licence by Walsall Council. All staff are DBS checked, first aid trained and hold current safeguarding certificates.
We are very lucky to have 3 very qualified coaches/instructors who are very friendly and passionate about teaching horse riding. We offer expert tuition in horse riding and horse care and welcome total beginners to more experience competent riders.
Horse riding tuition is in our outdoor 60m X 20m ménage with private one to one lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays and group lessons on Saturdays and Sundays. We have a dedicated 45 seat classroom next to our ménage for teaching horse care. Our classroom is used for Wednesday evening Pony Club, Thursday evening Pony Stars and Saturday evening adult certificated courses in horse care. We also use the classroom for birthday parties, film and race nights.
